Peek Inside My Planner: Transcending Waves

My life has been all over the place lately. I’ve been traveling non-stop, getting married, trying to be the best dog mom I can be… you know, the usual. Plus, I have a super short attention span, so it’s easy for me to go an entire day without actually accomplishing anything. I start a million projects and finish maybe one a day. My husband calls me a squirrel. I also like to think this is why I don’t text anyone back. But, anyway… I realized that I needed to find a planner.

I decided that I wanted to take control of my crazy brain by writing down my daily goals on paper. I’ve always loved writing things down. There’s something about crossing off an actual list on a sheet of paper that gives me so much joy! Especially if I’m using brightly pretty colored pens. With that said, I’ve been looking into planners for a while now. The event planner side of me loves organization and checklists, so I did a ton of research on different planners and I discovered the Transcending Waves planner.

5 Things That Drew Me to This Planner:

1. Monthly, Weekly & Daily planning

It was really important for me to have a planner that I could use every single day to hold myself accountable. Each day there’s a morning plan and a nightly review.

 2. Positivity

I loved that this planner forced me to be grateful about my life and think about the things I should appreciate every day by asking me “What I’m grateful for”.

3. Love, Love, Love

Theres a section that literally says “How did you connect with your friends and loved ones today?”. That is so important to me and it’s something I’ve strived to work on since I’ve moved away from home!

4. Accountability Tracker

At the end of the day, you’re forced to circle your productivity on a scale of 1-10. If that’s not motivating, I don’t know what is! I go to bed every night knowing that I totally can accomplish more.

5. Memories

This planner is so detailed with my thoughts that I look forward to reading back on it one day. I love that I can use this as a little diary to capture my feelings and goals each day.

    1. Me too! Reflecting on my day is my favorite part. I either realize that I’ve been really lazy or I’m really proud of myself! Both are good things. Haha. Thanks for reading!
